About Our History

Newtown Physiotherapy was established in 2003 by the principal Paul Zingus. It is an accredited practice under HDANZ. All of the physiotherapists who work at Newtown Physio meet their continuing professional development requirements and hold current annual practising certificates. We have a large loyal client base but we have provision for new patients.

Acute appointments are available and it is advisable to see your physiotherapist as soon as possible after injury or onset of the problem for the best management and results. ACC forms can be filled in at the clinic. You can come and see us directly for ACC and non-ACC injuries or problems.

We provide a private service, no referral necessary, for the following:

  • joint and muscle problems
  • neck and back pain
  • acupuncture treatment

Nikhil Reddy

Therapist

Nikhil has returned to his home town with his family, after 4 years working at a top sports clinic in Melbourne. While there, he was the physiotherapist for a top level rugby team. Nikhil is a keen sportsman, and is a regular basketball player.

Campbell Longmire

Therapist

Campbell started his physical thery career with us two years ago. After completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Auckland) he worked in AUckland in an inner city therapy clinic. Campbell is a keen outdoorsman, and is a regular hiker.

Annie Pinchen

Therapist

Annie has completed 6 years of intensive training and holds a four year degree of Bachelors Health Sciences (BHSC) in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and holds a 2 year, level 7 diploma (associates degree) in Tuina (Chinese Medical Massage). Annie is a keen sewer, and makes all her own clothes.
